Discover, acquire and reuse

Check an item’s version, terms and requirements before you add it.

Updated

Add a free item to your Library

  1. Open Discover and find the item. Use the category tabs (Explore, Creations, Graphs, Characters, Audio, Models & styles, People) or Search Discover.
  2. Open the item page. Check the version, the License and terms section and the Requirements section.
  3. Choose Add to Library. If you are signed out, the button reads Sign in to add to Library.
  4. Read the license and terms in the Add this version to Library dialog, then choose Add to Library.
  5. The Added to Library receipt opens. Choose Open Library or Keep browsing.

You can also choose Add to Library on a Discover card. It opens a Review acquisition dialog with the same terms and the same confirm step.

From Discover to your conversation
  1. Find

Browse or search Discover for an exact version.

  2. Check

Read its license, requirements and versions.

  3. Add

Confirm Add to Library for that version.

  4. Use

Attach it to a conversation from Library.

Check that it worked

  1. On the item page, the card now says This exact version is in your Library. and offers Find in my Library.
  2. On Discover, the card shows In your Library and an Open Library button.
  3. In Library, choose the Acquired view, or open Acquisition receipts. The item is listed there with its version.

If you try to add something you already have, Discover opens Already in Library instead of adding it twice.

What an item page shows

Every listing page names the item kind, its exact version and its creator. If the creator has no public profile, it says Creator not recorded. Below the preview, the page has six sections.

SectionWhat it tells you
InputsEach input with its type, whether it is Required or Optional, and a description, followed by the outputs.
License and termsDeclared license, Listing revision and Current offer declaration, with links to the creator and license terms and the acquisition agreement.
SourceWhere the item comes from, who made it, the owner workspace and the recorded date.
RequirementsSource bytes, Integrity, Runtime, Dependencies and Source download access.
VersionsThe public versions of this item. The one you are viewing is marked Viewing.
DiscussionPublic comments on this version. See Profiles, follows, comments and reports.

The acquisition card also has Copy exact item link, Save for later, Save to collection, Report and Contact support. Save for later only bookmarks the item for your Library's Saved view. It does not add the item to your Library.

When the item is a graph, style or fragment and you have source access, Inspect graph opens a read-only view of the graph and Download exact source saves the package. See Inspect graph requirements.

Licenses and terms

Every community listing uses one of three licenses, chosen by its creator.

LicenseShort meaning
CC0-1.0Public domain dedication.
CC-BY-4.0Reuse with attribution to the creator.
CC-BY-NC-4.0Reuse with attribution, noncommercial only.

The item page states that full terms are not recorded. Rights to use outputs, to run the item on hosted compute, or to redistribute its source or weights are not established by the listing alone. Read the Creator and license terms and the license itself before you reuse an item commercially.

When you add an item, your receipt keeps the license and listing revision you accepted, with a terms fingerprint. If the creator later changes the listing, your receipt still shows what you accepted.

Prices and what you can acquire today

Discover's price filter has Any price, Free and Paid. Acquiring paid items is not available yet, so only free items can be added to a Library today.

Priced in creditsThe credit price. Signed out, the item page offers Sign in to review acquisition. Signed in, it shows "Not available here" and a disabled Paid acquisition unavailable button. Not yet. Review acquisition on its Discover card adds nothing and spends no credits.

Wavemaker catalog itemBy Wavemaker and Use in a conversationNothing to acquire. Use it directly in a conversation.

Because no paid acquisition can complete today, adding an item never charges you. See Credits.

Agreements before your first acquisition

Acquiring needs your acceptance of Wavemaker's current policies, recorded for you personally. Sign in with your personal account. If Wavemaker has current policies that you have not accepted for acquiring, the confirm step stops with "Review the current policies at /policies/agreements before this action".

  1. Open Policy agreements.
  2. Read the documents listed under Current documents.
  3. Under Agreement for, choose Acquiring a free or paid item.
  4. Check I’ve read these documents and agree to them and choose Accept and continue.
  5. Return to the item and choose Add to Library again.

Nothing is added and nothing is charged while the agreement is missing. Your acceptance carries over when Wavemaker publishes a newer edition of the policies. If you choose Withdraw this agreement under Agreement history, adding items stops until you accept again. See Policies, privacy and agreements.

Versions and upgrades

An acquisition pins one exact version. When the creator publishes a new version, your Library and your conversations keep the version you added.

When a newer version of an item in your Library exists, the item page says "A new version is available. Your conversations stay pinned to the version they use." Choose Upgrade reference to open Usage and newer versions, which lists where this version is used in your workspace. Next to the conversation you want to change, choose Review upgrade, pick a New version in the Upgrade this conversation reference dialog, then choose Upgrade reference. Only that conversation's reference changes. Its earlier revision and every other conversation stay pinned, and no generation starts.

If a creator unpublishes a version, you keep access to the version you already added.

Your acquisition receipts

Open Library, then Acquisition receipts in Library's tools menu, or go to /app/library?tab=acquired. It lists 25 receipts per page with the total count. Each row shows the version, Free and the date, with View acquisition receipt. A row whose source is available also has Inspect exact version; any other row shows its availability as a badge. Receipts are private to their workspace.

AvailabilityMeaning
availableThe exact version is still offered and its source file is present. Download exact source appears on the receipt.
missing bytesThe version is still offered, but its source file is missing.
unavailableThe version is no longer offered as it was when you added it. Your receipt is kept.

A receipt shows the receipt ID, "Free · no payment order or execution", the date collected, the current source state, the accepted terms and the pinned exact reference. Availability is checked when the list loads. It does not confirm that an item can run later.

Use an acquired item

On the item page, choose Use in a conversation, or in Library select the item and choose Use in a conversation. Before you add an item, that button is disabled with "Add this exact version to Library before using it in a conversation." See Reuse an exact Library item.

A graph or method can still need particular model weights, custom nodes or input files. Check Requirements before you plan work around it.

If something goes wrong

Each of these failures leaves your Library unchanged, spends no credits and starts no generation.
