Export and privacy rights

Last updated: October 6, 2026

You can read this page without an account. Exporting data, correcting it, or closing an account or workspace requires signing in with the personal account that owns those records.

Rights that apply

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete and export personal information, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to appeal a decision. California and other U.S. state privacy laws may also give you the right to know what we collect and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing.” Wavemaker does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

The Privacy Policy is the controlling description of these rights. This page explains how to use the product controls that implement them.

Read the policies first

Export your data

  1. Sign in with your personal account.
  2. Open Data & privacy for your account, or the workspace privacy page if you are exporting a workspace you own.
  3. Create an export. The archive includes authorized records and original files with provenance and checksums. Exclusions and missing files are listed in the manifest.
  4. Download the archive before it expires. You can revoke an export sooner.

A workspace membership does not let you export another person’s account. Shared resources, other people’s acquired copies and records retained for payments, security or law may be omitted.

Correct or update information

Use Account settings for your display name and profile. Use Security for password, sessions and recovery material. Contact [email protected] if a record cannot be changed in the product.

Delete or close

Closing a personal account removes that person’s access and the personal data shown in the impact preview. Shared workspace content has separate ownership and retention.

Closing a workspace affects everyone using it. The final enabled owner cannot leave that workspace without transferring ownership.

Leaving a workspace preserves shared work. Deleting a conversation or Library item applies only to that resource and its current reference protections.

  1. Sign in and open Data & privacy or the workspace privacy page.
  2. Review the impact preview, including blockers such as running jobs or unresolved liabilities.
  3. Download any export you need.
  4. Confirm with the exact phrase shown and your password.

There is no universal automatic deletion deadline. Removal is scoped to your rights. Public listings cannot recall downloads. Policy agreement, payment, security and moderation records can be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

After you lose access

If this browser saved a closure receipt, Closure recovery can show that receipt’s progress. It does not restore a deleted account by itself.

Contact and appeals

Email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity. Where a privacy law gives you an appeal, reply to our response or write to the same address. EU/EEA and UK residents may also contact their supervisory authority.
