The Rain Route
A 28-second two-act film: a little robot crosses a rainy city and finds a sunlit courtyard, with titled acts and a piano score.
Film is Wavemaker's long-form directed method: the brief is split into acts, each act runs as its own sequence of shots with the character locked to one reference, and the acts are joined with title cards and one score. The Rain Route follows Milo, a small delivery robot, through a rainy lane and an archway in act one, then into a sunlit courtyard where it folds its umbrella in act two.
Each shot was generated from a reviewed plate built on the same character portrait, and the score was written with a movement per act. The download contains the brief, the plan the method ran, the composition manifest and render receipt, the qualification review, and this example's review packet.
