Last Skate at the Starlite

A song-first music video: an original song, performed on camera by one consistent singer.

A song-first music video starts from the finished track, not the pictures. The song's word timings set every cut, and each singing shot is generated from its own slice of the song, so the performance moves with the music. It suits artist singles, lyric-led brand spots and any piece carried by one performer. Here, Last Skate at the Starlite is a slow roller-soul ballad sung by an invented performer alone in an empty 1970s rink.

To make your own, bring a song or ask Wavemaker to write and generate one, then describe the performer and the place. Wavemaker designs the performer once and builds every shot from that reference. It plans the shots on the song's clock and assembles the cut against the original master. Mouth movement follows the words and pauses, but not every syllable. The download includes the lyrics, the song, the storyboard and every shot's graph.
